Under this measure, companies are required to register any new chemical substances not listed in the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (IESC). This measure replaces the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) Order No. 7.
This regulation aims to standardize the environmental management registration of new chemical substances, scientifically and effectively assess and control the environmental risks of new chemical substances, focus on new chemical substances that may pose greater risks to the environment and health in order to protect human health and the environment.
