Program Overview
The Yale School of the Environment’s innovative Green Chemistry for Climate and Sustainability certificate program is eager to welcome a new cohort of learners for the 2026–2027 academic year, beginning August 24, 2026. With over 96% of all manufactured goods touched by the chemistry enterprise, there is an urgent need for professionals and policymakers who can lead the chemicals sector to maximize product function while addressing climate change, economic development, and sustainability concerns. Target Audience

Program Structure
Participants will engage in a rigorous 9-month online program with lectures from world-renowned professors and practitioners, along with weekly live sessions on Zoom. The program requires a time commitment of 5-7 hours per week, including asynchronous materials and an hour-long synchronous session each week.
