Research in sustainable chemistry, circular systems, and waste management continues to shape the future of industry and environmental protection. This was strongly reflected at the 13th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management, where scientific and professional contributions highlighted innovative approaches to greener and more circular solutions.
As part of the conference programme, several contributions related to green chemistry, circular economy, and sustainable materials were presented. Among them was the presentation “Building a Global Green Chemistry Innovation Ecosystem: Lessons Learned and Networking Opportunities from the Global Greenchem Innovation and Network Program”, which explored the development of an internationally connected innovation ecosystem for green chemistry, with a strong focus on strengthening collaboration between science, industry, and institutions.
In addition, the “Analyzing input and output of e-recycling facility for brominated flame retardants “presented innovative and sustainable approaches to improving solid waste management practices. The poster session provided an important opportunity to showcase research results that contribute to the advancement of circular economy models and the practical application of sustainable materials and technologies.
A further contribution presented within the scientific sessions brought together key research findings and highlighted their potential for industrial implementation, reinforcing the importance of translating scientific knowledge into real-sector solutions.
The conference was attended by Jelena Milic, a member of our team, whose contribution supported the presentation of the project and further strengthened the link between science, industry, and the institutional framework.
We are also pleased to highlight the presence of E-RECIKLAŽA 2010 d.o.o., an important part of the broader ecosystem connecting innovation, waste management, and sustainable practices in the real sector.
We would like to thank the organisers of the 13th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management for the opportunity to exchange knowledge, present scientific results, and promote green chemistry innovation in an international setting.
