The American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable is seeking nominations for four industry awards. The awards recognize green chemistry innovations that advance sustainability in the pharmaceutical industry and allied industrial partners. The winning research teams will be invited to present their work at the 30th Annual Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference in San Antonio, Texas, in June 2026, where they will also participate in an awards ceremony. Applications are due Dec. 1, 2025.
The four awards are:
• The Peter J. Dunn Award for Green Chemistry & Engineering Impact in the Pharmaceutical Industry recognizes innovations in synthetic route design and processes for API and intermediates in both small and large molecules.
• The CMO Excellence in Green Chemistry award recognizes greener advances in the development of starting materials, intermediates, or APIs, including reaction conditions process technologies from contract manufacturing companies.
• The Data Science and Modeling for Green Chemistry award recognizes industry and academics developing computational tools that guide the design of sustainable chemical processes.
• The Green Discovery Chemistry Award recognizes outstanding efforts in discovery chemistry that demonstrate compelling environmental, safety, and/or efficiency improvements through green chemistry and engineering.
