The Lead Service Line Replacement Cost Calculator (LSLRCC), developed by Environmental & Public Health International (EPHI), is an EPA-aligned, public-facing planning tool that enables Tribal and local governments, utilities, and engineers to model and estimate the costs of lead service line replacement projects. The tool supports compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) and facilitates equitable access to Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and State Revolving Fund (SRF) resources.
The LSLRCC provides a data-driven, multilingual platform that strengthens planning capacity across federal, state, Tribal, and local water systems. It promotes sustainable infrastructure design by integrating cost modeling, public health protection, and regulatory alignment within a single, easy-to-use framework.
Recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and listed on the WIPO Green platform, the LSLRCC contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to clean water, health, and environmental equity.
