Khmelnytskyi National University

Khmelnytskyi National University is the largest institution of higher education in Podylia, which trains specialists in many fields of knowledge and conducts educational, methodological, scientific and educational work. The university was founded in 1962. During its existence, it went from the general technical faculty of the Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute to the Khmelnytskyi National University, which is a classical institution of higher education.

The mission of the University is to develop the intellectual potential of higher education seekers, scientific and pedagogical workers and employees of the University in the process of their joint innovative educational, scientific and entrepreneurial activities, capable of successful professional self-realization, technology and knowledge transfer, adapted to the needs of the modern world and life challenges.

The training of future specialists is carried out by 8 faculties, which unite 42 departments, according to 126 educational programs at all levels of higher education: bachelor's, master's, doctor of philosophy; Doctors of Science are also being trained. Today, more than 7,000 higher education students study at the university. The educational process is provided by 89 doctors and 340 candidates of sciences.

Khmelnytskyi National University is a recognized scientific center in Ukraine and abroad, in which more than 15 scientific schools, doctoral studies, postgraduate studies, and specialized scientific councils for the defense of doctoral and candidate theses work.

The university pursues an internationalization policy, within the framework of which international projects are implemented, foreign teachers and experts in fields of knowledge are involved in teaching, the development of foreign language competences of scientific and pedagogical workers is stimulated at the institutional level to expand the range of English-language educational programs, which has a qualitative effect on the attraction of foreign citizens to study in university The university became a member of the network of international higher education institutions of the Businet association, as well as the "Baltic University" program, which share common views on the internationalization of higher education, actively exchange knowledge and find innovative ways to promote and implement the goals of sustainable development. The university implements the USAID Cybersecurity Activity project, the program of which is aimed at strengthening the resilience of Ukraine's critical infrastructure to cyberattacks by establishing cooperation between the government, the private sector, the scientific community, and public organizations. The scientific library of the university joined the service of the international library exchange system RapidIL. Thanks to participation in the Ukraine Global Faculty (UGF) project, university students and teachers have the opportunity to listen to lectures by professors from leading foreign universities, well-known experts and real business entities.
