INNOVERDA

INNOVERDA is a French start-up company dedicated to the implementation of Green Chemistry Solutions in the Bioeconomy as also Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry. We design, develop and implement innovative processes using continuous flow electrosynthesis, flow electrodialysis and biomimetic electrochemical processes for the synthesis and manufacturing of building blocks and final molecules. From applications in the research lab to industrial production, these clean technologies enable the substitution of corrosive or toxic agents and the streamlining of production processes using new reaction pathways.
Electrosynthesis and electrodialysis can be applied on various scales and may conveniently be scaled-up. In the context of the sustainable development of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the transformation and valorisation of biomass (in preference waste) requires the development of new processes to supply starting materials in an economic and ecological way.
In a three-phased approach we evaluate where electrochemistry-based innovations may have the highest impact, and how concretely cost savings can be achieved, due to improved process efficiency, selectivity, and reduced waste generation.
