Initiative for Sustainability Education is a Non-Governmental Organization committed to fostering sustainable development through transformative education, capacity building, and community engagement. At ISED, we believe that education is the most powerful tool for inspiring responsible citizens and promoting environmental stewardship.
Our mission is to empower individuals, schools, and communities with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to address nagging global challenges such as climate change, food security, environmental degradation, and socio-economic inequality. Through innovative programs, research and advocacy, ISED promotes the integration of sustainability principles into formal and non-formal education systems.
ISED works across various sectors including Sustainable Agriculture, Agtech, Renewable Energy, Environmental Conservation, Biodiversity Protection, Circular Economy and Youth Development. We partner with local and international stakeholders to drive impactful, inclusive and scalable solutions. Our goal is to nurture a new generation of sustainability leaders who are equipped to build resilient communities and a healthier planet.
