Call for Programming Proposals: Spring 2025 Expo Theater

Are you traveling to San Diego to attend ACS Spring 2025? Are you passionate about enhancing safety culture in research laboratories or are you part of a Laboratory Safety Team (LST)? If so, we invite you to take center stage and share your insights with your peers!

We are currently accepting applications for presentations in the Spring 2025 Exhibit Hall Expo Theater. We encourage creative session formats, including presentations, trivia sessions, and panel discussions. Here are the details:

  • Eligibility: You must be a registered, in-person attendee of Spring 2025 to host a Theater session.
  • Session Dates: Multiple sessions will be scheduled from March 24 – March 27, 2025.
  • Duration: Each session should be no more than fifty (50) minutes in length.
  • Capacity: The Theater can accommodate up to fifty (50) attendees.

To incentivize participation, we are pleased to announce that we will award $500 travel stipends to the presenters selected to offer their event in the theater. This stipend will be reimbursed after travel occurs upon submission of travel reimbursement forms. 

Submission Guidelines: Please submit your proposal to the ACS Office of Safety Programs at [email protected]. Your submission should be formatted as a PDF and include the following:

  • Your name, affiliation, and contact email address
  • Session Title and a brief Abstract summarizing your proposed session
  • Description of session format (e.g., traditional presentation, panel, interactive activity)
  • Estimated duration of the session

Submission Deadline: January 15, 2025
