A Hackathon to find innovative solutions in green chemistry. Both individual specialists and teams are invited to take part, ready to find solutions to real chemical challenges of Ukrainian industrial enterprises.
Hackathon challenge topics
The Global Greenchem Hackathon is a unique opportunity for innovative teams to apply green chemistry principles and approaches to address real industrial challenges. Some industrial companies provide a list of tasks for the participants to work on. The main objective is to find environmentally safe, efficient and cost-effective solutions based on the principles of Green Chemistry:
- Sustainable chemicals and product design with a focus on renewable raw materials;
- Use of secondary raw materials to create new safe materials and products;
- Packaging innovations in line with green chemistry principles;
- Technologies and methods to reduce waste and emissions in the production process;
- Technological solutions to optimize chemical processes and reduce their environmental impact;
- Other solutions to improve the resource efficiency and environmental safety of products.
Submission deadline: 20 October, 2024.
