Webinar July 30, 2024: How private capital can leverage the clean energy financing grants throug EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund

What happens when private capital and federal grants link up, to finance a clean energy future in communities across the U.S.? That is what we’re going to investigate on July 30th. Please join the U.S. EPA’s Environmental Financial Advisory Board, an independent board of industry experts, for a conversation about how private capital can leverage the clean energy financing grants made through EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. This historic $27 billion of catalytic funding creates a national-scale program of financial capital to mobilize financing and enhance US economic competitiveness in the emerging global clean energy economy, while promoting energy independence and delivering lower energy costs and economic revitalization to communities that have historically been left behind. 

This workshop on July 30th, the first in a three-part series, will explore and address specific strategies for financial products, financing enterprises, and secondary financial markets to expand the Net Zero Building sector, one of the three priority sectors for GGRF grants (Zero Emission Transportation and Distributed Energy Generation will be foci of the next two workshops). Speakers represent seasoned sector experts across finance, law, community development and project development segments, and will detail specific financial products and transaction structures where GGRF-funded projects can attract private capital participation. For more information and to register please see link in flyer!
