The electronic laboratory notebook promotes collaboration and ease of information sharing across divisions, such as discovery and development, and also across geographies. In addition, the incorporation of green chemistry reporting into the electronic laboratory notebook promotes a grassroots effort toward green chemistry by providing the necessary tools in the scientist's primary workspace.
