Advanced Biorefinery Platform for Sustainable Fuels

EcoCeres is a renewable energy innovator dedicated to transforming biomass waste into sustainable fuels, chemicals, and materials. With over a decade of expertise in biomass utilization, the company develops proprietary technologies to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Hydrotreated Vegetable Oils (HVO) as a renewable diesel alternative, and Cellulosic Ethanol (CE) as a gasoline blend. These advanced biorefinery solutions support global greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets, offering renewable alternatives that can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the aviation and road transport sectors.

EcoCeres produces HVO, a 100% renewable diesel substitute, by deoxygenating waste vegetable oils and animal fats to meet the stringent EN15940 standard, ensuring optimal cold flow properties and compatibility with existing diesel engines. Through further refinement, HVO can be upgraded to SAF, supporting the aviation industry's decarbonization goals.

EcoCeres’ HVO, a chemically similar fuel to fossil diesel, functions seamlessly as a “drop-in” fuel. This means it can be used without any modifications to existing diesel engines, reducing emissions by over 80% compared to traditional diesel. With a growing demand for renewable transport fuels in regions like Europe, HVO is increasingly essential for meeting renewable fuel mandates.

EcoCeres’ proprietary process combines waste greases and animal fats, which are processed under high temperatures and pressures with hydrogen and specialized catalysts, yielding HVO as a sustainable, high-value fuel. Alongside its focus on HVO, EcoCeres is expanding its platform to include renewable naphtha and other bio-based products, positioning itself as a leader in the global energy transition.
