Each pair is made with 100% recycled materials, using ten plastic bags, twelve plastic bottles for the fabric and laces, and recycled rubber for the soles. The production process also incorporates vegan glue and detergents, ensuring a completely animal-free product. Thaely’s packaging boxes are made from recycled paper embedded with basil seeds and dyed with waste coffee grounds, which can be planted rather than disposed of. As of August 2020, the brand has recycled 154,000+ plastic bags and 185,000+ bottles.
