Protocols for Methylene Chloride Compliance

(Note that the title on the ACS website is not correct, but the registration Link does work)

The recently published EPA TSCA final rule on methylene chloride bans most uses of this chemical. Laboratory handling is permitted only if potentially exposed persons are covered by a compliant Workplace Chemical Protection Program (WCCP). This includes requirements for exposure assessment and a significantly lower action level and occupational exposure limits than required by the OSHA Methylene Chloride standard (29 CFR 1910.1052).
