Raising Safety in Research: Engaging Graduate Students in Laboratory Safety: Opportunities for Empowerment, Collaboration & Professional Development

Learn about creating a positive safety culture for graduate students in the ACS Fall 2024 symposium, “Raising Safety in Research: Engaging Graduate Students in Laboratory Safety: Opportunities for Empowerment, Collaboration & Professional Development.”

Through talks, a panel discussion, and a networking component, team members from the ACS Division of Chemical Health and Safety will share strategies to address compliance and empower students to be active in creating safe research environments.

IUPAC World Chemistry Conference 2025

IUPAC 2025 comprises two major IUPAC meetings, namely the 53rd IUPAC General Assembly (53GA) and the 50th World Chemistry Congress (50WCC) that together with other side events will attract more than 3,000 delegates from all over the globe. This marks the first time that these global chemistry extravaganzas are taking place in an ASEAN country, and this has created immense enthusiasm and excitement among chemists from this part of the world.

2025 ACS GCI Green & Sustainable Chemistry Summer School

The ACS Green and Sustainable Chemistry Summer School (GSCSS) is a highly selective week-long program for graduate students and postdoctoral chemists and engineers. Each year, approximately 60 exceptional students from North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean are selected from a large pool of applicants and gather for this fully funded once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The American Chemical Society pays for all eligible travel and program costs.

Pacifichem 2025 - The International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies 2025

The 2025 International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies (Pacifichem 2025) will be held December 15-20, 2025 in Honolulu, HI, USA. Pacifichem 2025 will be the ninth in the series of successful cosponsored scientific conferences of Pacific Basin Chemical Societies. Founded in 1984, these conferences have been held in Honolulu, Hawaii about every five years. The Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC) is the host society for the 2025 Congress.

The Pacifichem 2025 Congress Theme is Building Communities to Address Global Challenges.

2023 US Innovators Roundtable

The 2023 US Innovators Roundtable will be an opportunity for Change Chemistry members and non-members to engage with leading innovators, investors, and government officials in the green and sustainable chemistry space.

Structured as a series of dialogues exploring topics, the gathering will provide attendees with opportunities to meet and engage with key players from across the globe. This will be a hybrid event so both virtual and in-person registration tickets are available.

Sustainable Soft Matter Symposium

The ACS Graduate Student Symposium Planning Committee (GSSPC) presents "Bonds That Matter: Soft Materials for a Sustainable World" at the Spring 2025 ACS National Meeting in San Diego, CA. Sponsored by the Division of Chemical Education, the all-day symposium is entirely planned by graduate students, including topic selection, fundraising, recruiting speakers, advertising, and symposium logistics. The focus of the symposium is the production and processing of high performance, sustainable soft matter and its role in achieving a circular economy.

ISC3 Investor Forum at Impact Festival 2024

In 2024, Impact Festival 2024 is featuring the ISC3 Investor Forum 2024 (Pitches, Panel, Booth, Audience Award) and live Innovation Challenge Award Ceremony on October 30th and 31st, 2024, between 9 am and 8 pm, at Forum Messe Frankfurt, Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. Both organisations, ISc3 and Impact Festival 2024, and all their variegated partners present are coming together in order to further kick-start financial and networking power for Sustainable Chemistry start-ups, and to start promoting sustainable innovation in chemistry together at the Impact Festival 2024, as well!
