Compostable

Path2Green

Approach to address the pressing need for efficient and transparent evaluation techniques to assess extraction processes’ sustainability. In response to society's growing demand for natural products and the consequent surge in biomass exploration, a critical imperative arises to ensure that these processes are genuinely environmentally friendly. Extracting natural compounds has traditionally been regarded as a benign activity rooted in ancient practices. However, contemporary extraction methods can also significantly harm the environment if not carefully managed.

Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products

Blueland manufactures sustainable household products using environmentally responsible ingredients that are both recyclable and compostable. The company offers a range of products including hand soap, laundry detergent, spray cleaners, and personal care items in plastic-free tablets. These tablets are added to warm or hot water in reusable bottles, shakers, and tins, eliminating the need for single-use plastics like polyvinyl alcohol (PVA and PVOH).

OC-BioBinder™

Biobased (biopolymers & plant-based substances) binder for nonwoven and technical textiles. Binders made with biopolymers from residual streams in the food industry (such as orange peels, shrimp shells, wheat bran) instead of mainly fossil plastic polymers (EVA, acrylates) that are traditionally used in binders. 100% biodegradable, compostable, and non-toxic.
