ChemFORWARD is a science-based nonprofit organization (NGO) that manages the Chemical Hazard Data Trust (the "Data Trust"). The Data Trust supports a centralized online platform of hazard data, including comprehensive chemical hazard assessments (CHAs) designed to help users select safer chemical ingredient alternatives for products across various industry sectors, including cosmetics, electronics, food packaging, and plastic additives. Partnering with the Safer Chemistry Impact Fund, the ChemFORWARD team manages industry collaborations where data-driven insights provide a baseline for collaborative goal setting, data sharing accelerates progress for all members, and collective impact is achieved.
