The National Agrarian University, also formally called National Agrarian University – La Molina (Spanish: Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina) (UNALM), is a public university in Lima, Peru. Of particular renown in the fields of agricultural, biological, and forestry sciences, it is also the only university in Peru offering degrees in meteorology. The university is organized into eight faculties which contain twelve academic departments. It is considered one of the most important higher education institutions of Peru. The National Agrarian University La Molina is an educational university institution specialized in the training of professionals for the agriculture, fishing, food and economic sectors. Their faculty have a strong social commitment and stand out as being proactive and innovative leaders, who are competitive in their fields. It generates, and applies knowledge obtained from basic and applied research for the sustainable development of the country. Aims to achieve leadership level through quality teaching, research, university extension and social projection in agriculture, fishing, food and economic sectors. It also strives to promote the healthy management of natural resources and environmental conservation for the growth of the country. It does so with creativity and professionalism, optimal resources and efficient administrative processes.
