Mutumba Innovation Village is a pioneering Ugandan enterprise transforming agricultural waste into eco-friendly paper and packaging materials. Based in western uganda,a region abundant in banana production, mutumba addresses two Pressing global challenges; environmental degradation from agricultural waste burning and deforestation driven by traditional paper production. By converting banana stems and othe crop residues into sustainable alternatives to plastics and wood based packaging, mutumba champions a circular economy that benefits both the planet and people.
