The Senegalese Committee for Chemistry (CSC) is the national body for the coordination, promotion, and representation of chemistry in Senegal. Created to promote the chemical sciences for sustainable development, the CSC brings together researchers, educators, industry leaders, policymakers, and civil society stakeholders working in the field of chemistry and its applications. The Committee acts as an interface between national institutions (universities, research institutes, businesses, ministries) and international scientific organizations, notably the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), for which it is the national focal point.
