Bio-Sourced Surfactants Derived from Renewable Sources

SurfactGreen specializes in developing patented ecological surfactants derived from renewable sources for use in personal care products, household cleaners, and industrial applications. Their product lineup includes DeterGreen™ AL12, a biobased surfactant designed for detergent applications that remains stable across a wide pH range and is available in a liquid form with a medium transparent color. Comprising 96% renewable carbon and being readily biodegradable, DeterGreen™ AL12 serves as an effective ingredient for household, industrial, and institutional formulations. The CosmeGreen™ range includes cationic surfactants tailored for cosmetic products, such as CosmeGreen™ ES1822+, a 100% bio-sourced conditioning agent that offers exceptional smoothing, strengthening, color retention, and detangling benefits, making it a sustainable alternative to Behentrimonium Chloride (BTAC) in hair conditioners, deep treatment masks, and rinse-out conditioners. Additionally, CosmeGreen™ MB1618, a 99% bio-sourced conditioning agent with a melting point of 67°C, provides conditioning and detangling benefits and serves as an alternative to silicones and petrol-derived quats in various personal care products. SurfactGreen is also expanding its operations with a new pilot plant near Orleans, France, in collaboration with Orrion Chemicals Orgaform, to scale up production and advance its bio-sourced surfactant technologies, all while adhering to green chemistry principles.
