Luxury fashion made from plant-based yarns and dyes

JIWYA is a luxury fashion brand that has developed a “soil-to-soil” model: all raw materials (fibres, dyes, embellishments, even threads/buttons) are plant-based, no synthetic dyes or plastics utilized in textile production. The production is zero-waste (scraps up-cycled) and every piece is designed to return to the soil (biodegradable). They combine plant-based fibers (linen, jute, etc) and plant-based dyes. Their supply chain is transparent, localized, and the brand claims high ethical/sustainable standards.

Jiwya's chemistry-backed processes use only plants to derive soothing shades that use 1/10th the water compared to conventional textile processes. The used water is utilized to feed garden soil. Jiwya's yarns are extracted from regenerative plants grown in low water and pesticide free environment. Following a bio-circular fashion economy, Jiwya ensures every scrap from garment production is upcycled into embellishments, accessories and fixtures ensuring a seamless zero-waste process.

Key markets:

  • Luxury sustainable fashion: affluent consumers who want premium garments with strong sustainability credentials and craft heritage.
  • Ethical/eco-conscious apparel & accessories: plant-based, zero synthetic materials appeals to niche but growing segment of sustainable fashion.
  • Slow fashion / artisanal heritage products: pieces meant to last, integrate artisan arts and be heirloom rather than fast-trend – appealing to values-driven customers

The products come from the soil, and go back to the soil completely. They have also designed a Rejiwya program where used fabric is taken back for store credit and reintroduced to nourish soil through responsible composting closing the loop on the supply chain.
