OECD workshop on financing sustainable chemistry

The OECD workshop on sustainable chemistry will discuss enabling conditions, lessons, and financing approaches that could stimulate investment towards safer and more sustainable chemicals, building on experience from Green Finance and Investment (GFI) for climate mitigation and other environmental goals.

Clean Hydrogen: Shaping Sustainable Industry's Future

On April 8, 2026, UNIDO, in collaboration with its international partners, will host the International Conference ‘Clean Hydrogen: Shaping Sustainable Industry’s Future’ at the UN premises in Vienna. The event aims to encourage transformative changes in local industries of developing countries and transition economies through the sustainable application of clean hydrogen.  

Safe and Sustainable by Design: Accelerating the Industrial Transition

The 6th Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) Stakeholder Event is scheduled to take place from March 18 - 19 in Brussels. This conference will bring together the European SSbD community, including industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators from across Europe.

 

Organized by the European Commission, this event will focus on the revised SSbD Framework, the communication and collaboration among the EU SSbD projects, and the role of the SSbD approach in accelerating the industrial transition.
