The ACS GCI Green and Sustainable Chemistry Summer School (GSCSS) is a highly selective week-long program for graduate students and postdoctoral chemists and engineers. Each year, approximately 60 exceptional students from North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean are selected from a large pool of applicants to gather for this fully funded once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The American Chemical Society pays for all eligible travel and program costs.
The 2024 GSCSS took place June 21-26 at the University of Vermont. You can explore posters created by this year's cohort in our Community Publications and Reports.
Collaboration and innovation are key to addressing today's pressing environmental challenges. By coming together, we can drive forward the research, development, and advocacy needed to create sustainable solutions. GCS provides a dedicated space with the tools, resources, and network to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing. By participating in our platform, you can be part of meaningful solutions that advance green chemistry and sustainable development worldwide. Community-contributed resources are an invaluable part of this effort. We invite you to share your tools, publications, and more by visiting the Submissions page.
