The American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute (ACS GCI) will hold its 28th annual scientific meeting on June 3-5, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia. The Green Chemistry & Engineering (GC&E) Conference is dedicated to advancing research, education, diversity, and innovation in green and sustainable chemistry and engineering. Our annual conference—the longest-running green chemistry conference in the world—is a testament to our commitment to catalyzing positive change for a sustainable future.
In 2024, the conference theme is AI-Enabled Green Chemistry. The Conference co-chairs are Prof. Alexei Lapkin of the University of Cambridge and Jared Piper of Pfizer. The program will include innovative research and cross-cutting themes across the breadth of green and sustainable chemistry and engineering topics while emphasizing symposia that explore how artificial intelligence can enable innovations that underpin solutions to global sustainability challenges.
Through interactive sessions, immersive workshops, enlightening panel discussions, and collaborative activities, GC&E will be a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of AI’s potential role in green chemistry and a clear vision of how they can harness this intersection for a sustainable world.
