About the Course

The Climate Change Advocacy Workshop is designed to help ACS members passionate about climate change advocacy maximize Society resources through this on-demand course. This workshop includes six modules covering the science, societal impacts, government bodies, and communication skills needed for advocating for climate change on the federal level. Participants will learn to successfully plan and execute advocacy activities, as well as have an opportunity to network and build a community with others passionate about climate change advocacy and ACS.

  • Identify advanced strategies to engage on contentious issues, such as climate change, by specifically tailoring a message
