Citropol® and Sustainable Ingredients

Ingredients for flavors, fragrances, cosmetics, personal care products, and specialty materials. P2 Science transformers terpenes from the forest and oleochemicals from the field into safe, renewable, high performance, biodegradable, and multi-functional new ingredients for flavors, fragrances, cosmetics, personal care products, and specialty materials. Citropol® is a novel class of low MW liquid polymers that are made from 100% forest-derived terpenes through a clean, mild, and high yielding conversion process.

Reactive Diluent and Green Solvents

Green chemicals for pharmaceuticals, polymers, paints, and petrochemicals. Inkemia Green Chemicals produces biodegradable, renewable, low-VOC, and waste-derived chemicals for pharmaceuticals, polymers, paints, and petrochemicals. They also offer biodegradable, low-VOC, and 90% biobased linseed oil methyl esters as a reactive diluent.

Membrane-Based Production of Lactate Esters

Synthesis of organic solvents from sugars. This technology uses selective membranes to produce ethyl lactate and similar esters from sugar. This synthetic pathway is significantly more cost-effective than traditional methods. The process requires little energy, is efficient, eliminates large volumes of salt waste, and reduces pollution emissions. Lactate esters are high-performing, compatible with a broad range of aqueous and organic reactions, and biodegradable. These solvents can replace halogenated and toxic solvents used in the industry.

Soy-Based Toner Cartridges for Printers and Photocopiers

Toner made from soy and corn biomass. This toner is uses polyester, polyamide, and polyurethane resins that are made from soy oil and protein and carbohydrates extracted from corn. Conventional petroleum-based toners that use synthetic resins (such as styrene acrylates and styrene butadiene) are challenging to remove from papers during recycling. While toners that facilitate the de-inking process have been developed, they are much more expensive than traditional toners. Contrarily, these soy and corn-based toners have a more competitive price.

Coldstrip™

Uses water and oxygen to remove photoresist and other organic contaminants in producing semiconductors and flat panel displays. Coldstrip™ uses a gas diffuser and an ozone generator. This process cleans more quickly than many chemical-based processes as it produces no solids in the water (eliminating the need for filtration) and does not require elevated temperatures. Traditionally, Piranha solutions (containing sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide) are used to produce semiconductors and flat panel displays.

Activated Silk™

Activated Silk™ is a biodegradable, high-performance molecule bioharvested from natural silk protein with renewable energy. These molecules are developed using their proprietary NoviCulture process, which only uses salt, water, and a carbon-conscious supply chain. These molecules have the ability to protect and enhance the barrier function of almost every surface. Evolved By Nature currently uses this technology to develop sustainable chemicals for leather and textiles, natural ingredients for personal care, and biomolecules for regernative and aesthetic medicine.

Baypure® CX: Biodegradable and Non-Toxic Chelating Agent

Biodegradable, non-toxic chelating agent. Chelating agents are used in detergents, agricultural nutrients, and household and industrial cleaners. Traditional chelating agents are not biodegradable and readily dissolve in water. This novel chelating agent is biodegradable and non-toxic. The process only requires water, maleic anhydride, sodium hydroxide, and ammonia.

Peptide emPOWERed™ Insecticides

Peptide emPOWERed™ Insecticides are peptide-based biological pesticides from naturally occurring molecules with effective insecticidal properties benign to mammals and vertebrates and not cross-resistant with synthetic insecticides. Biological pesticides are substances that naturally occur in or are inspired by nature, commonly target specific pests, and decompose quickly. The genes that encode for these peptides are inserted into a yeast strain, which undergoes a fermentation process that yields Spear peptide, the active ingredient for the pesticide.

THPS Biocides ( Tolcide® PS A-Series)

Coordination compound that has the potential to be applied as biocide for the prevention of algae and bacterial growth in water for industrial use. Tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium sulfate (THPS) is an organophosphorus compound with low toxicity, biodegradability, and exceptional activity against microorganisms. Since this biocide is non-halogenated and is produced in a water solution, it does not generate VOC emissions. It's readily biodegradable by oxidative process, hydrolysis and interactions with light and/or organisms.

GRANDEVO® Advanced Bioinsecticides

Microbial-based insecticide that targets sucking and chewing insects, flies, and mites on a variety of conventional crops (fruits, vegetables, etc.). This microbial-based bioinsecticide contains several active compounds that act in many ways to protect crops from insects, flies, and mites. It also repels, stops feeding, reduces reproduction, and induces mortality of these pests. The technology has been shown to control up to 99% of pest populations in tests. The insecticide saves time, requiring only a 4-hour re-entry interval and minimum need for PPE.
